I’ve been messing around with watercolour recently and while I get a few patterns going I threw some together and put them on Society6 as prints, iphone cases and pillow cases. I find the phone cases much more interesting although they look nice as framed prints.
I’ve been posting a few every now and then, so take a look and let me know what you think :)
I’m also thinking about developing some fabric prints, and while I like a good clean vector based pattern, there’s something fun about organic and imperfect hand drawn patterns. I’ve been enjoying putting watercolour to paper and deciding which shape to use…
I’ve also finished my second ceramic class, and I’m strongly thinking about signing up for the third. I’m really enjoying them. Any of you taking good classes in Toronto?

love love love the prints…i always liked finding your little sketches of little shapes and things around our condo when we were in school!! so glad you’re doing this and what a great idea to use the prints on various products! im loving the pillows!!!
and on the ceramics, well done! and of course my mom would totally encourage you to continue with it if you’re enjoying it…she’s currently doing a 6wk course on making tea pots :) which i’m hoping to receive one in the relatively close future haha
ps if i ever get my act together and start a line…you are definitely being hired as my print designer for fabrics :)
Aw thanks Lindsey!!! These are definitely more of a study and I want to move on to florals and more abstract patterns too. Goodness your mom is so far advance in the art of pottery and ceramics… I’ve JUST done 4 little cups with handles but none of them look like the other haha (which is one reason why I find them so endearing ;)
