It was my last week in Toronto last week. I take a flight out on Friday to Vancouver and leave behind good friends and so many memories. I’ll no longer be a Torontonian. Pardon me while I get s bit emotional.
I made sure to keep my schedule full of friends, food, drink, and coffee (as you would have noticed over my instagram) And still to my great surprise, Toronto was as busy and loud at 1pm on a wednesday. Where do all the people come from and what do they do during the week when all of us 9-5ers are busy being office people? Astounding really!
I’m crazy grateful for all of you who sent recommendations for my move to Vancouver (via comments and emails… so sweet!!) I now have a full list of places to visit and I’m even more excited to hit the ground running in Vancouver.
Below are a few shots taken over the last few weeks. I haven’t taken my big camera out in so long, which I tell myself will change once I’m exploring in Vancouver. Obviously the focus of my last moments were places I loved – coffee shops, restaurants, snack bars.. etc.
Below are places I checked out before I left. There are more photos through my instagram.
Samuel J Moore – Coffee and lunch. My first time but wouldn’t be my last had I stayed (perhaps just for the marble table tops)
Balzac’s Coffee. First time here, actually…Almost too pretty for me?
Rose and Sons. I took Jason there for our last lunch… so so so good. please go! We shared the chicken club and the burger melt. YUM.
Finally tried Enoteca a few weeks ago. It didn’t disappoint. We had loads of wine.
Peonies in Toronto. So expensive, but so beautiful.
Thanks again to all of you who made Toronto amazing.
