Happy 2 Years!

Saturday February 11 2012 marked the 2nd anniversary of As Ink Remains.

I had forgotten the date of my first post, until my friend Emily marked her 1st anniversary and prompted me to look at my own. In some ways, it feels like this blog is so much younger than that; as though it has only been a part of my life for just a few months. Nope, it’s been 2 years!

It all started because I was bored and uninspired of the work that was available to me. I wanted to discover new things and share them with people, and needed something that gave me a sense of purpose, along with gratitute for the good things that happened in my life.

Thank you again for your support; you make it an absolute joy to share my experiences with you on a daily basis.

Here are a few of my favourite shots (from this year alone!) :

S’mores from Field and Market

Bread!!

Scones from L’Ouvrier

Pretty pastels

Billy ButtonsRoses

The Almacen

Such a lovely planner
Saving Grave pancakes
